Supporting Families
If you are a parent with at least one child under the age of 5, then Home-Start Worthing & Adur may be able to help you.
Support is usually provided by volunteers who visit families in their own homes for 2 - 3 hours a week to offer support, friendship and practical assistance. Family groups are also available, where parents can meet and chat with other parents and children can play in a safe environment.
If you would like support:
- You can contact Home-Start Worthing & Adur directly and an Organiser will visit you at home to discuss your needs and decide whether Home-Start is appropriate for you.
- You can contact your health visitor, midwife, GP, social worker or any other agency you are involved with and ask them to make the referral for you.
